    Original 1935 program for the Hamilton Tigers of the Ontario Hockey Association Senior A League for a game against the Sudbury Falcons. Among the players on the Hamilton team is Toronto Maple Leaf legend Syl Apps.

    Original program card for the 1937 season at Toronto's Mutual Street Arena. This card contains in the middle a pasted on list of boxing bouts for Wednesday October 13th. The pasted on part would be replaced for each event but the card ads and photos were printed on the card. There are photos for wrestlers (?) Ed "Don" George on the front, and Yvon Robert and Bibber McCoy on the inside. The back has an ad for Golden Virginia cigarettes. SCARCE.

    Condition for the Jack Dempsey program is better than very good but not quite near fine with a light fold crease down middle, slight wear to corners. The Jack Sharkey program is very good with light fold mark across middle, 3 small pin holes top left corner which is evident on both pages of the program, tanning to program.
    Wrappers, Jack Dempsey program is 12 pages (including wrappers), Jack Sharkey program (dated November 7th, 1946) is a single sheet folded to make 4 pages total.
    Size for both programs is 6” x 9”.
    Listing is for two wrestling programs (one dated November 7th, 1946, the Dempsey program is undated however there is an ad on the back for the Ice Capades of 1946 dates Dec 12 to 15) for matches held at the Ottawa Auditorium with special referees Jack Dempsey and Jack Sharkey. The Dempsey program contains info on “Commander Dempsey”, Wrestling Notes, full page photos of tag-team partners Larry Moquin and Yvon Robert, the centre page has 4 small photos of the main tag-team match Yvon Robert and Larry Moquin vs Emil Dusek and Rudy Dusek. The Sharkey program contains an Order of Events with Sharkey refereeing the main bout between Lou Thesz and George Koverly, a brief article on Sharkey arriving from Germany, a full page article (with photo of Fred von Schacht) titled “Villains are Prominent in Local Wrestling Circles”.
